Meet The Team

Owen | Founder of Team Thomas Outdoor Fitness

Owen has been a part of the Health & Fitness community for over 30 years. His knowledge and enthusiasm have been built on a deep desire to help you achieve your individual health & fitness goals and avoids the pitfalls and mistakes that can so easily occur when starting on your fitness journey.

Owen is a qualified personal trainer, sports therapist, stroke rehab therapist, boot camp & outdoor fitness instructor and British Army reservist. Since qualifying in 1995, Owen has worked as a successful sports therapist, running his own business and working for semi and professional rugby teams including Kettering and Bugbrooke rugby club and Northampton Saints, training ladies professional boxing world champion and professional racing drivers too.

In addition to this, Owen has instructed at several residential bootcamps as well as delivering outdoor fitness sessions for a national company.Owen’s unique blend of enthusiasm, encouragement and humour will bring out the very best in you and help you to achieve excellent results.

Jules | Founder of Team Thomas Outdoor Fitness

Jules has been working within the fitness industry since leaving school. Jules has qualifications in weight training, aqua fit and child protection in sport & active leisure. My first passion was playing Netball for the school, county and East Midlands.

Whilst working in a leisure centre environment, Julie has delivered indoor circuit classes, personal tuition, aqua fit,swim coach and outdoor training classes.

Outside of work, Jules loves the outdoors, has climbed Everest Base Camp, competed in OCR races,King of the Hill, Wolf Run, goes paddle boarding with friends, is an open water lifeguard and a lifesaving first aid trainer assessor for RLSS UK.

Jules love of fitness shines through at team thomas outdoor fitness helping people to live longer through fitness and laughs. So come and meet Jules, our other trainers come to any of our outdoor fitness classes in Grange Park or Hackleton Rec.

Lindsay | Fitness Instructor at Team Thomas Outdoor Fitness

Lindsay is relatively new to the fitness industry having qualified as a L2 fitness instructor in May 2022. Lindsay was taken under our wing as a trainee in the summer of ‘22 and is now our go-to cover instructor.

Lindsay is a running coach and boxercise instructor and is studying towards her L3 diploma in Personal training. She is kept busy by her day job, her 3 children, and a ravenous, impulsive Labrador. She is a runner, her favourite distance being the half marathon (1.43 PB).

Lindsay likes to work our TT crew hard. She loves a cheeky burpee, and shuttles is her middle name.

Our Goal

The sole aim at Team Thomas is to get everyone involved in a fun, effective, team orientated fitness routine! Our classes will improve your mental and physical health and give you the opportunity to create lasting friendships with like-minded individuals.
